PUNE, India – At the Tudip AI Summit 2026, India’s first individual Olympic gold medalist, Abhinav Bindra, joined Tudip Digital CEO Dipti Agrawal and CTO Tushar Apshankar for a powerhouse session exploring the intersection of elite performance and AI innovation.
Bindra shared a lesson on consistency that mirrors Tudip’s approach to engineering: excellence isn’t a one-time event; it is a daily standard.
“The Olympic Games came every day for me, not once every four years. My goal was to show up every day with the same energy as an Olympic competition. The goal was to become better than I was yesterday.”
Addressing the challenges of rapid digital transformation, Bindra emphasized that resilience is the engine of success.
“Success in life is the art of failing well. It is the ability to let go of the unwanted baggage that failure brings… look at it as something that you can learn from and how you can get better from.”
In a discussion with Tushar Apshankar regarding predictive tech, Bindra highlighted how AI provides the “science” while the human remains the heart of the endeavor.
“You get science even before it really happens, and AI has started that very powerfully. AI can never take away the role of the human… but actually, AI has an important role in sports.”
Closing the session with Dipti Agrawal, Bindra’s final advice to leaders was clear: a flexible mindset is the key to fast decision-making.
“If you don’t have a mindset which is flexible, your decision-making is slow because you are just not able to adapt quickly enough… the ability to embrace change is important.”
