Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Enablement Specialist to design, develop, and deliver engaging technical learning experiences that accelerate the productivity of support and technical teams. The ideal candidate will have experience creating technical enablement content across multiple formats, a strong understanding of modern learning technologies, and familiarity with cloud, data, and enterprise technology platforms.

 

This role requires close collaboration with Engineering, Product, Support, Operations, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to translate complex technical concepts into impactful training programs, knowledge assets, and hands-on learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Content Development

 

  • Design and develop technical enablement content including e-learning modules (SCORM/xAPI), videos, assessments, instructor-led training (ILT), and virtual instructor-led training (VILT).
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, engaging, and learner-centric content for technical practitioners.
  • Create and maintain training curricula, learning paths, certification preparation materials, and onboarding programs.
  • Develop support-focused resources such as troubleshooting guides, playbooks, runbooks, FAQs, and knowledge base articles.

 

Learning Platform Administration

 

  • Publish, manage, and maintain training content within Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Docebo or similar platforms.
  • Monitor learner engagement, completion rates, and training effectiveness through LMS reporting and analytics.
  • Support hands-on learning experiences through lab authoring and delivery platforms such as Vocareum or equivalent solutions.

 

Technical Enablement

 

  • Develop enablement materials covering cloud technologies, data platforms, analytics tools, and enterprise software solutions.
  • Continuously learn new product features, technologies, and platform capabilities, translating them into scalable training and enablement programs.
  • Partner with technical SMEs to ensure content accuracy, relevance, and alignment with business objectives.
  • Design learning experiences that improve technical proficiency and accelerate employee onboarding and productivity.

 

Support Enablement

 

  • Create training programs that improve support engineer productivity, troubleshooting capabilities, and customer issue resolution.
  • Build content aligned with support workflows, escalation processes, SLA management, and knowledge management best practices.
  • Drive initiatives that improve case deflection, reduce ramp-up time, and increase support team confidence.
  • Maintain and enhance support documentation to ensure consistent knowledge sharing across teams.

 

Stakeholder Management

 

  • Collaborate with Engineering, Product Management, Support Operations, and Enablement teams to identify training needs and prioritize content development.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders and senior leadership.
  • Manage multiple concurrent enablement projects while balancing priorities, timelines, and business requirements.

 

Required Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Education Technology, Instructional Design, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in Technical Enablement, Technical Training, Learning & Development, Technical Writing, or a related role.
  • Proven experience creating technical enablement content across multiple formats, including e-learning, assessments, videos, and instructor-led training.
  • Experience with LMS platforms such as Docebo or similar systems.
  • Experience with lab authoring and delivery platforms such as Vocareum or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with video creation and screen-recording tools such as Camtasia, Loom, or similar technologies.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts.
  • Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders in technical environments.

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • Familiarity with cloud technologies, data platforms, enterprise applications, or software development environments.
  • Experience supporting technical support organizations or customer support enablement programs.
  • Knowledge of support operations, ticket management processes, escalation frameworks, and service-level agreements (SLAs).
  • Experience developing knowledge bases, troubleshooting documentation, operational playbooks, and runbooks.
  • Understanding of adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies.
