Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced IoT Project Manager with 8–10 years of experience in managing end-to-end IoT projects and leading cross-functional technical teams. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of IoT architecture, connected devices, cloud platforms, data communication, and software development processes.
The candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and delivering IoT projects while effectively managing timelines, quality, budgets, and customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage IoT projects from initiation to delivery, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, milestones, deliverables, and resource requirements.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams including IoT/Embedded Engineers, Firmware Developers, Backend Developers, Cloud Engineers, QA, and Data Engineers.
- Work closely with stakeholders, customers, product teams, and technical teams to understand requirements and ensure successful delivery.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks and dependencies, and implement mitigation plans.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, resources, and priorities effectively.
- Ensure adherence to Agile/Scrum methodologies and facilitate Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Collaborate with technical teams on IoT architecture involving sensors, gateways, connectivity, edge computing, cloud, APIs, and data platforms.
- Coordinate integration of IoT devices with cloud platforms and enterprise applications.
- Track project KPIs, deliverables, issues, and overall project health.
- Communicate project status, risks, and dependencies to senior management and customers.
- Manage vendors, third-party technology partners, and external stakeholders where required.
- Ensure quality, security, scalability, and reliability throughout the project lifecycle.
- Prepare project documentation, status reports, project plans, RAID logs, and other project artifacts.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and ensure lessons learned are incorporated into future projects.
Required Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of IoT architecture and ecosystem.
- Experience with IoT devices, sensors, gateways, and communication protocols.
- Understanding of protocols such as MQTT, HTTP/HTTPS, TCP/IP, CoAP, BLE, Zigbee, LoRaWAN, or similar.
- Good understanding of Cloud platforms – AWS IoT, Azure IoT, or Google Cloud IoT.
- Understanding of REST APIs, Microservices, Databases, Edge Computing, and Data Analytics.
- Exposure to embedded systems, firmware development, or hardware-software integration.
- Experience working with Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Azure DevOps, or similar project management tools.
- Good understanding of CI/CD, DevOps, Agile, and Scrum practices.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and software development methodologies.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 8–10 years of overall experience, with significant experience managing technology/IoT projects.
- Proven experience in end-to-end project management and delivery.
- Experience managing multiple stakeholders and cross-functional technical teams.
- Strong experience in Agile/Scrum project management.
- PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, or similar certification is an advantage.
- Excellent communication, leadership, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
