Position Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain on-premises Windows Server environments, ensuring system availability, stability, and performance.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab, or similar tools.
• Develop automation scripts using PowerShell, Shell Scripting, or Python.
• Perform legacy application assessment, modernization, and migration activities.
• Plan and execute server, application, and database migrations with minimal downtime.
• Manage deployment processes, release engineering activities, and infrastructure configurations.
• Configure and maintain networking components, load balancers, web servers, and related infrastructure.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure system performance and reliability.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
• Implement DevSecOps practices, including vulnerability scanning and security compliance.
• Collaborate with development, QA, infrastructure, and business teams for smooth project delivery.
• Maintain technical documentation, migration plans, and deployment procedures.

Required Skills

• DevOps & CI/CD

  • Strong experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and GitLab.
  • Experience in build automation, deployment automation, and release management.
  • Understanding of DevOps methodologies and practices.

• Operating Systems & Infrastructure

  • Strong hands-on experience managing on-premises Windows Server environments.
  • Good understanding of Windows Server administration and infrastructure management.
  • Knowledge of Linux environments is an added advantage.

• Scripting & Automation

  • Strong scripting skills in PowerShell, Shell Scripting, or Python.
  • Experience in automating infrastructure and deployment-related tasks.
• Migration & Modernization
  • Experience in legacy application assessment, modernization, and migration.
  • Hands-on experience with server, application, and database migrations.
  • Ability to execute migrations with minimal downtime and business disruption.

• Networking & Monitoring

  • Good understanding of networking concepts, load balancers, DNS, and web servers.
  • Experience with monitoring, logging, performance optimization, and troubleshooting.

• Security & Tools

  • Knowledge of DevSecOps practices, vulnerability scanning, and security compliance.
  • Familiarity with Git, version control systems, and infrastructure security best practices.
  • Strong experience in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and incident management.

Required Qualifications

• Bacheor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure Management, or Release Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with on-premises Windows Server administration.
• Proven experience in CI/CD pipeline implementation and legacy application migration.
• Excellent troubleshooting, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
