How to Add Manual Data for Fitbit Device?

Fitbit, Inc. is an American company headquartered in San Francisco, California. Its products are activity trackers, wireless-enabled wearable technology devices that measure data such as the number of steps walked, heart rate, quality of sleep, steps climbed, and other personal metrics involved in fitness. Fitbit device is for both iOS and Android app. Read the following steps to add manual data for Fitbit Device.

We can add test data in Health App device by following 8 steps mentioned below:

  1. Hit the URL:
  2. Login with the credential <your_fitibit_user_name>/<your_fitbit_password>
  3. On the Fitbit app dashboard tap the Exercise tile to open your exercise history. This is the title that says “Track exercise” or shows how many days you’ve worked out this week. dashboard
  4. Tap Log activity
  5. Tap common activities on Log Activities card common-activity
  6. Click on Activity Record log-activity
  7. Add data on field and click on Log button log-activities-walk
  8. Add data on field and click on Log button activity-history

Can we add test data for a past date in Fitbit device?

  • Yes

We can add the following activities for the Fitbit device

  • Walking (includes hikes)
  • Running.
  • Aerobic Workout (continuous, high movement activities like dance or kickboxing)
  • Elliptical.
  • Outdoor Bike.
  • Sports (continuous, high movement activities like tennis, basketball, soccer)
  • Swimming (only on. Fitbit Flex 2™)

By following the above steps we can add manual data and can test with any application which is integrated with this fitness device.
