Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled SAP ABAP Developer with 3+ years of experience in SAP development, customization, and implementation. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge of ABAP programming, debugging, performance optimization, and SAP application development.

The candidate will work closely with functional consultants and business teams to develop, enhance, and maintain SAP applications according to business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain SAP applications using ABAP programming.
• Work on ABAP Reports, Interactive Reports, ALV Reports, and Smart Forms.
• Develop and maintain SAP enhancements, user exits, BAdIs, and customer exits.
• Work with Data Dictionary (DDIC), including tables, views, structures, and data elements.
• Develop and maintain interfaces using BAPIs, RFCs, IDocs, and other integration methods.
• Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis of technical issues.
• Optimize ABAP programs to improve performance and efficiency.
• Work on SAP Scripts, Smart Forms, and Adobe Forms, as required.
• Collaborate with SAP functional consultants to understand business requirements and deliver technical solutions.
• Participate in unit testing, integration testing, code reviews, and production support.
• Prepare technical specifications and maintain relevant development documentation.
• Follow SAP development standards and best practices.

Required Skills

• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.
• Strong knowledge of ABAP programming and Object-Oriented ABAP (OOPs).
• Experience with ALV Reports, Classical Reports, and Interactive Reports.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Data Dictionary (DDIC).
• Knowledge of enhancements, BAdIs, user exits, and customer exits.
• Experience with BAPIs, RFCs, and IDocs.
• Strong debugging and performance-tuning skills.
• Experience with Smart Forms, SAP Scripts, or Adobe Forms.
• Understanding of SAP modules such as SD, MM, or FI will be an advantage.
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA development.
• Knowledge of ABAP on HANA and CDS Views.
• Familiarity with AMDP and modern ABAP syntax.
• Exposure to SAP Fiori or OData services.
• Experience working in implementation, rollout, upgrade, or support projects.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
