Position Summary:

We are seeking a Data Scientist – Commercial Analytics to build and deliver production-ready, explainable analytics solutions for a global agro-chemical company. The role focuses on solving commercial problems across pricing, revenue management, demand forecasting, and customer analytics, operating in complex global supply chain environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy analytics solutions for pricing, revenue management, and demand forecasting.
• Build models for cross-sell, up-sell, and churn use cases.
• Create explainable and interpretable models for business adoption.
• Support the full analytics lifecycle: data preparation, modeling, validation, deployment, and monitoring.
• Collaborate with commercial and supply chain stakeholders across regions.
• Build solutions using Python and Azure Databricks.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3–7 years of experience in data science or advanced analytics.
• Experience delivering production-ready analytics solutions.
• Exposure to commercial analytics (pricing, revenue management, or forecasting).
• Understanding of global supply chain dynamics.
• Experience with cross-sell, up-sell, or churn analytics.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Hands-on experience with Azure Databricks.
• Ability to build explainable, business-ready models.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in agro-chemicals, agriculture inputs, FMCG, or B2B distribution models.
• Exposure to seasonal demand or multi-country commercial environments.
• Mentoring or informal team leadership experience.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
