Position Summary:

We are looking for a Business Development Manager (IT Services) who will be responsible for acquiring new clients and driving net-new revenue. This is a hunting role, focused on outbound sales, discovery, solution selling, and closing new business for our IT services offerings. The ideal candidate has strong experience selling technology and IT services to global clients and is comfortable engaging CXOs, decision-makers, and technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

New Business Development (Hunting):

  • Identify, target, and acquire new logos across global markets.
  • Drive the full sales cycle—from prospecting and discovery to proposal and deal closure.
  • Build a strong outbound pipeline through cold outreach, LinkedIn, emails, events, and referrals.
  • Focus on mid-market and enterprise customers.

IT Services Solution Selling:

  • Sell IT services including (customize as needed):
    • Digital transformation
    • AI & GenAI solutions
    • Product engineering
    • QA & testing services
    • Cloud, data, and automation services
  • Understand customer pain points and position services as business solutions.
  • Work closely with pre-sales, product, and delivery teams to define scope and solutions.

Client Engagement & Relationship Building:

  • Conduct discovery and consultative discussions with senior stakeholders.
  • Build trust and long-term relationships from the first interaction.
  • Own commercial discussions including pricing, proposals, contracts, and negotiations.

Pipeline & CRM Management:

  • Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasts, and activity tracking in CRM.
  • Meet and exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets.
  • Provide regular updates to leadership on deal progress and risks.

Market & Strategic Inputs:

  • Track market trends, competition, and customer needs.
  • Provide feedback to marketing and delivery teams to improve GTM strategy.
  • Identify opportunities for cross-sell and upsell post initial deal (handover to account management).

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience of 4 -10 years in IT services sales and business development.
  • Strong background in new logo acquisition (hunter role).
  • Experience selling to US, Europe, or global clients.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to engage CXOs, VPs, and senior decision-makers.
  • Strong understanding of solution selling and consultative sales.
  • Self-driven with a high ownership mindset.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

  • Experience selling AI, digital, QA, or product engineering services.
  • Existing network or relationships in target industries.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho, etc.).
  • Experience working with delivery and pre-sales teams.
  • Understanding of long sales cycles and enterprise procurement.
