French Language Expert
About Company:
We are seeking a fluent French Language Expert to support our operations in the LATAM region. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills in French and English (Spanish or Portuguese is a plus), with a strong cultural understanding of Francophone markets. You will provide linguistic support, translation, interpretation, and/or customer service across various functions.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Translation & Localization: Translate documents, emails, and internal communications from French to English/Spanish (and vice versa) ensuring cultural relevance and linguistic accuracy.
- Customer/Client Support: Handle incoming communications (calls, chats, emails) in French for customer service or technical support.
- Quality Control: Proofread and edit translated content for consistency and adherence to brand tone.
- Interpretation: Provide live or recorded interpretation support during meetings or training sessions (if required).
- Collaboration: Work closely with LATAM regional teams to ensure smooth language integration across departments.
- Documentation: Maintain and update terminology databases, translation memories, and style guides.
Job Requirements/Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Languages, Translation, Communication, or a related field.
- Fluency in French (C1/C2) and English (B2 or higher); Spanish or Portuguese is a strong plus.
- 1–3 years of experience in a similar role (customer support, translation, localization, etc.).
- Familiarity with translation tools (e.g., SDL Trados, MemoQ, or CAT tools) is a plus.
- Strong intercultural communication skills and attention to detail.
