Position Summary:
The LMS Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day management, maintenance, and support of the organization’s Learning Management System (LMS). This role involves working with cross-functional teams to develop, implement, and manage eLearning programs, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the system meets the needs of both learners and the organization. The LMS Specialist ensures the smooth operation of the LMS, including course creation, reporting, and user management.

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operation of the LMS, including user account creation, course uploads, and overall system maintenance.
- Manage the uploading, organizing, and structuring of courses and learning content, ensuring ease of access and navigation for users.
- Provide technical support to users and troubleshoot issues related to the LMS, ensuring minimal disruption to the learning process.
- Work with instructional designers and content creators to upload and configure new courses, assessments, and multimedia content.
- Configure the LMS settings, features, and reporting functions to meet organizational learning needs and goals.
- Generate and analyse reports on learner progress, course completion, and system usage to measure the effectiveness of training programs.
- Maintain accurate user records and enrollments, manage user groups, and ensure data integrity within the LMS.
- Track and report compliance training completions, ensuring that employees complete mandatory courses within deadlines.
- Collaborate with LMS vendors for system upgrades, troubleshooting, and enhancements. Coordinate with internal departments to align training needs.
- Provide training to new users and administrators on how to use the LMS effectively, including creating and managing content.
- Stay informed of LMS updates and new features, ensuring smooth upgrades and implementation of new functionalities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and above
- 3+ years of experience managing and administering Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Knowledge of Docebo software is preferred
- Proficiency with common LMS platforms
- Strong technical skills, with experience in configuring and troubleshooting LMS issues
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
